Nothing replaces physical meetings, but connecting with someone on these sites should lead to a quick cup of coffee or lunch. People want to work with people they feel comfortable with. You gain trust by talking to people about what they think, like or want out of the business. The more you continue networking yourself, the more opportunities that will come your way.
